In the fall of 1976, the Audubon train station was a dilapidated relic from the early days of rapid transit. It was up for sale, and was almost torn down. Now, it is a dentist's office and has been rebuilt to its former glory.

There are similar train stations littered up and down the White Horse Pike, along E. Atlantic Avenue. At one point, each individual town was built around their station. This town is such an example of early 20th century small-town development. Today the station has been restored. What would become known as Train Station Dental officially opened its doors in April of 1977.
The train station was originally built between 1890-92. Local residents used it for decades to travel between Philadelphia and the longtime recreational destination of Atlantic City. They just completed their third renovation. The dentist's office says, "the architecture of the station remains true to the day its walls first went up. Stop by for a visit and you’ll see why we love it!".
