This waymark entry is along Driving Tour 1 which follows US Route 6 from Matamoras, PA out to the Junction with US Route 20 out in western PA.
Scranton is at Mile 0 of Section "B" of the tour. Heading west, you arrive at....
From WYALUSING ROCKS (parking; picnicking; use of binoculars, 10¢), 51.2 m., overlooking the Susquehanna's broad valley, is a view which extends across miles of pasture and farm land to tinted mountain ranges.
The view is still as spectacular, and includes an interpretive sign about landscapes of conservation in the Susquehannah River Watershed, but sadly no pay binoculars. There is a PA Historical Marker for the Warriors Path at the west end of the parking area. A nice stop for a break along the scenic Highway 6.
