This welcome sign is located on a major road leading into the town limits. The sign has several local organization logos listed. The town is known for artistic paintings of the oldtown sctions. Many Civil War portraits have been painted here because of it's beauty and Civil War history. The County Courthouse is also a favorite painting subject as well as it's main street. Warrenton is located in historic Fauquier County. One of the oldest Counties in America.
