This ancient font can be seen inside the church of Filby.

The font dates to 1200-1275 although it appears modern. It is the oldest item in the church and is made from Purbeck marble. Details available thanks to the church leaflet.

The wooden lid on the font has a brass plaque which reads:
'In loving memory of Brian Albert Benjafield 1935-1983 beloved husband, father and grandfather.'
