Many signs of human inhabitance exist in this area. A barn foundation and two house foundations exist about 0.15 mile south-west of here. The foundations are bisected by an old county road, Miers Road, that was vacated in the early 1950s. The park's Riding Run horse trail now utilizes this old road. Small household dump sites and a well house are also found nearby.
