Established 1939, Tucumcari Memorial Park cemetery is a large and beautiful cemetery on the north side of I-40.

Tucumcari Memorial Park has a really large arched stone entrance on the south side of the grounds. There is a two-foot tall stone retaining wall around much of the cemetery. Several large and mature trees are on the property, with many other smaller trees of the desert variety.
It is fairly large, with approximately 10,000 internments here. We spotted about a dozen Woodmen of the World markers near the center of the property. There are some really nice large trees, the area is well maintained, and the roads are even gravel/dirt.
