This is a nice viewpoint with portapotties, lots of parking, a path with interpretive signs and fabulous views of Denali (aka Mt. McKinnley), and also of the Great Gorge and Ruth Glacier.
The park is mostly undeveloped, but does have portapotties, trails with interpretive signs that lead to the 2,000-ft. butte with a view that is fabulous of the Denali, Talkeetna and Alaska mountain ranges plus Ruth Glacier and also views of the Curry and Indian ridges. This is also a wildlife refuge so it is possible to see bear, moose, caribou and other animals at different times of the year.
