No longer in use, the base has been rebuilt and the stave tank restored. With a small bit of irony, the Alberni Valley Heritage Network operates a steam engine here from May to October but use a hose from the bottom of the tower to fill the water tank on the locomotive.
The address for the station and water tower is 3100 Kingsway.
