I've been traveling through Canyon Texas at least once a year for the last 26 yrs, The Big Texan has welcomed me each and every time. I believe that at one time he had a cigarette in his right hand (notice the "pack" of Marlboro's on the pole next to him), now he has a spur. I think the store was either a western clothes or boot store.
