This Tower is known as the Loy E. Cook Water Storage Facility. Loy Cook was a long time Madera employee. The storage capacity is one million gallons. Underneath the tower is a picnic area that is administered by the Mexican-American Senior Center which is located at 716 Columbia Street next to the tank.
