Proceed South On McArdle road from its split with Monument road.

Turn right(west) at the first trail and park..marker will be just ahead.

4 bearing trees are marked nearby, and this section corner marker is buried under about 18 inches of earth.

Marks the confluence of sections 7-8-18-and 17 in Township 23 North, Range 7 east.
This is a Federal land office survey marker from 1921.
Type of survey mark: monument in post.(buried)
