This substantial granite sculpture, by Taipei artist Ju Ming is located in the plaza area of Olympic Park, site of the XXIV Summer Olympiad, held in 1988 in Seoul, Korea.

Ju Ming, born in 1938, is perhaps Taipei's most active and influential sculptor. In 1999, after twelve years of planning, he and his family opened the Ju Ming Museum and Sculpture Garden in the mountains outside of Taipei, covering 26 acres and encompassing ten distinct centers including museums, workshops, education centers, and a section devoted to the philosopy of Tai Chi.
