Coudenhove family was the last owner of Pobezovice chateau before WW II.
One of their coats of arms is placed at the southeast corner of chateau.
After the war, the chateau was used as a base of border patrolling forces and in 1980s it was planned to be demolished, only in 1989 the Pobezovice town started the repairs. Currently the south part is restored and the town information center is located there.
