This sign gives you the elevation and population of Jackson as you enter from the south on US Highway 26/89/189/191. Once an active fur collecting area for pioneer frontiersmen, Jackson is now the southern gateway to Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. It is also home to the National Elk Refuge on the north edge of town.
Address: 1355 S US Highway 189.
