Astro-Chimp, San Diego, CA - Artistically Decorated Utility Boxes on Waymarking.com

This poor little spacewalking primate has a problem -- actually, two. He can't figure out how to eat his banana: it's outside his helmet but his mouth is inside! Moreover, the "second stage" of the banana seems to have blasted off and is heading away from him into the interstellar void.

The chimp is on the west side of the utility box. The north side depicts a fanciful spacecraft, and on the east are more spacecraft, planets or moons, and a fairy-tale castle (or maybe sand castle). The south side, which faces a fence, is blank.

As I was taking the photos, a passer-by stopped to chat about the pictures. He said that he'd seen a man and a woman working on the painting. There do appear to be two signatures on the art: "Mush" (east side) and "Enosh" (north side).
