The Snake River runs through the center of Idaho Falls. At the north end of a beautiful greenbelt along the river is a access point and well maintained boat ramp. With the exceptional high spring run off the river boat ramp was closed because of the hazardous water conditions. When the water recedes it will be available to boaters.

To access the boat ramp take Riverside drive on the west side of the Snake River off Broadway Ave. Travel about 1 mile to the boat ramp.
