The Gerald J. Mason Memorial Swimming Pool is located north east of the intersection of Armory and Maynard Streets in Feeding Hills. It is an part of Robinson State Park and administered by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. They offer swim classes, family swim, and open swim throughout the day. The ell shaped pool has a swimming area with lane markings, a separate diving area, two lifeguard stations, and locker facilities. Admission is free.
Gerald J. Mason was the volunteer leader of many youth athletic programs in Agawam. For many years he tirelessly organized and served as commissioner of the youth soccer, basketball and baseball leagues.
