Green River, Wyoming is a small town in southwestern Wyoming along Interstate 80.
This sign can be spotted on West Flaming Gorge Way after taking the western exit into the town of Green River from Interstate 80.
The town of Green River is centered around the Green River which flows through and divides the town into two sides. At Exploration Island in the river are signs pointing out that John Wesley Powell set out on his exploration of the Green River from this town.
