This station, a U.S. Geological Survey standard bench mark disk, is located in New Ipswich, NH. It is set vertically in the northwest face of the Central School, adjacent (to the left of) a doorway. The NHDOT datasheet description is as follows:
THE STATION IS LOCATED IN NEW IPSWICH.TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF STATE ROUTES 123, 124, AND 123-A IN NEW IPSWICH, GO EAST FOR 0.15 M ON ROUTES 123 AND 124 TO THE NEW IPSWICH CENTRAL SCHOOL AND THE STATION ON THE LEFT.THE STATION IS A STANDARD USGS DISK STAMPED--88 ATA 1951 973--, SET VERTICALLY IN THE NORTHWEST FACE OF THE NEW IPSWICH CENTRAL SCHOOL, 5 -FT ABOVE THE GROUND. LOCATED 47.0 FT NORTHEAST FROM THE WEST CORNER OF THE BUILDING.
