The Fraker Mill Bridge is located on the Wabash Cannonball Trail, a 63 mile multi-use recreational trail in Northwest Ohio. The trail provides non-motorized access to hikers, bikers, equestrians, and cross-country skiers, although some juristictions restrict horse traffic. The 12 foot wide trail surface varies within the different jurisdictions, from asphalt to hard packed cinder ballast. The County Road 6-3 Trailhead, where the Fraker Mill Bridge is located, has off-road parking for about 10 cars.
The bridge was named after Thomas Fraker, who moved to the area in 1834, and who built a lumber and stave mill near the location of the present-day bridge.
