This "You Are Here" board is to be found at the top of over 400 steps that lead down over the cliff to South Stack Island and Lighthouse (an entry fee to the island is charged but it is free to go down the steps).
South Stack is a prominent headland on Holy Island, Anglesey, and protrudes into the Irish Sea. This area is famous for tidal races and seakayaking.
South Stack is within the Breakwater Country Park - an area of coastal moorland that also includes North Stack and Holyhead Mountain.
