This elevation mark is located on the South Gardner River Bridge along the Yellowstone North Entrance Road about 3 miles south of Gardiner, Montana. The cap is located in the top of the very north end of the west concrete walkway beyond the actual bridge. The cap was set by the U.S. Bureau of Public Roads in 1958 and was left blank except for the date. The bridge was built in 1958.
