This benchmark is located at Virginia Cascades on the old road between Norris Junction and Canyon Junction. The cap is located about 160 feet east of the top of Virginia Cascades in road cut on north side of road. The cap was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1923 and was marked T9 with an elevation of 7757.576 feet.
