This is a three toned flag of a sky blue, a darker blue, and white in the City Seal. A dark blue Pony Express rider is setting off towards the Missouri River and points west. In the upper left hand corner is the City Seal of St. Joseph. The words "St. Joseph Missouri", with star separators on either side of Missouri, are in the dark blue and in a white circle surrounding the main part of the seal. This is a seated figure of Liberty waving a small flag. She is seated on a large rock with a shield "Liberty" reclining against it.
This flag is in a small plaza in front of the St. Joseph City Hall located at 1100 Frederick Avenue.
