This little chapel is on Quay Street in Whitehaven, very near the harbour. There are car parks on two sides. The hall is used for meetings and rehearsals. Above the hall door at the rear is a sandstone plaque, which reads.

The monks are of the Benedictine order, whose main abbey is Belmont Abbey in Hereford.
