The Victoria Baptist Church is a large imposing building which fronts onto Victoria Road in Deal, although quirkily its address is given as Stanley Road, the small road alongside the building leading to and from the beach. A corner stone and carving above the main doors indicate it was built in 1881.

Like many large church buildings of that era, Victoria Baptist Church's stonework is showing it's age, being badly weathered in places. The pinnacles over it's front entrances were removed recently for fears they were no longer structurally safe.
