The Man with the Golden Gun (1974)
is the ninth spy
film in
the James Bond series and
the second to star Roger Moore as
the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. A
loose adaptation of Ian Fleming's novel of
the same name, the film has Bond sent after the Solex Agitator, a device
which can harness the power of the sun,
while facing the assassin Francisco
Scaramanga (Christopher Lee), the "Man with the Golden Gun". James Bond
arrives on Scaramanga's island to trace his assistant Mary Goodnight (Britt
Ekland) and the Solex Agitator. The action culminates in a duel between
Scaramanga and James Bond on the islands small beach, with Nick Nack (Herve
Villechaize), Scaramanga's man servant and accomplice presiding over the duel.

Here Scaramanga and Bond
ready themselves for the duel countdown given by Nick Nack.

Here's Ko Tapu (the
solar panel for Scaramanga's 'death ray' device appeared out of the top) a 20m
rock off Ko Khao Phing Kan island, now a very popular tourist destination.
