Deseronto is a town in the Canadian province of Ontario, in Hastings County, located on the shore of the Bay of Quinte. The town was named for Captain John Deseronto, a native Mohawk who was also made a captain in the British Military Forces.
Deseronto was settled in 1784, incorporated into a village in 1871 and incorporated into a town in 1889.
