A slightly unusual memorial to WW1, WW2, and the Korean War

The front of this memorial lists about a dozen names of the fallen. The sides are inscribed "Those who carried on", and about 15 names on each side, including one "nursing sister Neta Carscallen". An unusual and nice to see homage to those who returned.
The reverse lists four fallen from WW2, and the simple inscription "Korean War 1950-1953" with no names - presumably nobody was lost in this conflict
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 458 held its first meeting in January 1947. It is not known whether the memorial was built at that time or earlier.
