This plaza is dedicated to hundres of eagle scouts in the Orange County area. The plaque reads, "The AndersonSchoepe Eagle Scout Plaza was dedicated on Monday, June 26, 2006 to recognize the many Orange County boys who have earned the rank of Eagle Scot. The creation of this plaza was made possible by a generous donation from the Distinguished Eagle Scout Robert AndersonSchope. The vision for this plaza is to inspire out youth to preserve the accomplish great feat. To earn Eagle Scout rank, a Boy Scout must actively participate in the Scouting program and earn 11 specific and at least 21 merit badges and coordinates 150 hours of volunteer work. Then he must plan, organize, and lead others in a service project benefiting the community."
