This 48’ red covered bridge is a pedestrian bridge which crosses a ditch in Centennial Park. It was built by Marvin Terry who moved to Waukee in 1964. He built this bridge in 1975 and donated it to the city park where it is enjoyed by visitors to the park. There is a parking lot not far from the bridge.
Current Condition of Bridge: Very Good
Description of Covered Bridge: It is built of wood, painted red and provides a walkway for people crossing the ditch.
