This picture of a fireplace is in an unlikely location, San Diego, usually a rather warm and sunny spot.
When I took the photos, there was an interesting accessory next to the utility box, which may or may not have been a coincidence. Somebody had left a bunch of unwanted household items on the street corner, and the only one not yet taken was a recliner chair that would be just perfect to pull up in front of a real fireplace on a cold winter's night.
Although the fireplace may not actually generate any comforting warmth, it is just outside of a great Vietnamese noodle-soup restaurant (which is already a Waymark) that serves warm, comforting food.
