The Town of Vinland was incorporated in 1849. The Town publishes a Biyearly news letter for its residents. You can even buy advertizing in the news letter. There are two cemeteries in the town, Brooks and Allenville, as well as a town hall and a volunteer fire department. Oh! Yes can't forget the local bar and grill, Vinland Still & Grill they even have there own web site, www.vinlandstill.net and there on FACEBOOK Vin Still N Grill. The two hot items in the July 18, 2011 issue was the lost 173 residents according to the 2010 U.S. Census There still looking for them and the other is the Voter Photo ID Law FAQ.
