Casuarina Mail Delivery Centre, NT, 0810 - Australia Post Offices on Waymarking.com

The Casuarina Mail Delivery Centre is located at the corner of Rowling Street and Symes Street, one block back from the main Casuarina Shopping Centre.

It provides Mail Delivery Services including Parcel Pickup, Private Box Applications, Redirected Mail, Carded Mail Collection, and 'Poste Restante' or 'Care Of Post Office Mail', but no other services. Entry to the mail collection desk is on the Symes Street frontage. It is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, closed weekends.

There is a normal red posting box on the Rowling Street side but no yellow Express Post box, and most of the Rowling Street and Symes Street frontages are taken up by post office boxes.

There is no Australia Post signage on the building, and except for the 'Australia Post Vehicles Only' signs on some of the parking spots, the occasional visiting Australia Post vehicle, and Posties on motorcycles dropping their carded mail items, only local knowledge, the presence of the red posting box, and the large collection of post office boxes gives away the secret of this location.

The Casuarina Mail Delivery Centre is my 'Home Away From Home' for mail purposes while in Darwin every year.

Visit Instructions:
To post a log to an existing Australia Post waymark, you will need to post a unique picture of the Australia Post sign. Including your GPS device in the picture is not neccesary and wouldn't be cause for disapproval, as long as all other details of your log are acceptable.
