Lagrave Field

LaGrave Field originally existed, in the same location as today, from 1926 through 1967. It hosted exhibition games featuring Babe Ruth and Ted Williams. In the 1940s and 50s, it was home to the Cats, a Brooklyn Dodgers farm club.

It was rebuilt in 2002. Situated beside the Trinity River, LaGrave Field is accessible from the hiking/bicycle trails along the river, as well from city streets.

This ballpark was one of the stops in the Bryan Adams/Def Leppard tour, which held concerts specifically in minor league baseball stadiums across the U.S. in 2005.

LaGrave Field provides a relaxed, fun environment where local residents and families can take in a professional baseball game just down the street, at an affordable cost, and without battling traffic, parking, and huge crowds.
