Loch Tarff is one of the several lochs around the famous Loch Ness; located in the southside, not far from Fort Augustus.

The lake's maximum depth is about 28 meters (though the mean is 7 meters).

The lake is easily accessible the B862 road, from Fort Augustus to Inverness.
