TO REACH FROM US-501 ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF ROXBORO, GO EAST ON SOMERSET CHURCH ROAD (SR1702), THEN SOUTH 0.1 MILES ON OLD DURHAM ROAD (SR1700) TO TANK ON RIGHT, AT AN ABANDONED FACTORY, AND ON THE PROMULGATION OF THE C/L OF SR1753. TANK IS CONICAL WITH FOUR LEGS AND A STANDPIPE, AND IS APPROX 125 FEET TALL. THE EXTERIOR IS RUSTY.

Tank also is an aerial intersection point for surveyors and can be logged as a benchmark (FY2981).
