In 1967 the village built a new fire station and village hall. The village shares thier building with the Fire department and the library. Half the building is for the Fire Department and the other half is for the Village Hall and Library.
The building is brick with a flat medal roof. The Scandinavia mascot is Thorbjorn a wooden carving of a viking flanked by two bears and crossed weapons in front. The Artist was Bob "Buzz Saw" Helverson.
