Richard Senkel (born 1877) was a freemason and a member of the Social Democratic Party. He had the courage to openly complain to the Nazis about bad treatment of prisoners of war. He was deported to Sachsenhausen concentration camp and killed there 1943. His Jewish wife Dora (born 1893) was deported to Auschwitz and killed there the same year as her husband. The Stolpersteine are placed in front of their home at 8 Am Sparrenberg.

Richard Senkel (geb. 1877) war Freimaurer und Mitglied der SPD. Er hatte den Mut, sich offen bei der NSDAP über die schlechte Behandlung von Kriegsgefangenen zu beschweren. Er wurde ins KZ Sachsenhausen deportiert und dort 1943 umgebracht. Seine jüdische Frau Dora (geb. 1893) wurde nach Auschwitz deportiert und dort ebenfalls 1943 ermordet. Die Stolpersteine liegen vor der Wohnung des Ehepaares Am Sparrenberg 8.
