Dell'Angelo is a hotel and a restaurant in the center of Locarno directly at the Piazza Grande. The building is from the 17th century, the pizzeria is located in the ground floor. It has an open kitchen where you can watch your pizza fresh prepared and put into the wood-burning brick oven.
The food is rather inexpensive for the area. Traditional pizzas (about 20 sorts) are CHF 13.50, special pizzas (also about 20 sorts) are between 14 and 19. Of course, they also offer the full range of other Italian dishes, as this is the local standard cuisine here.
