Zinc monument for Spruce McCoy Boggs, in Good Hope Cemetery in the Parvin community near Prosper, TX. Also buried here is the Boggs's infant son, who didn't survive beyond birth in 1878. Thanks to Findagrave for details about Boggs's initials.

Headstone text (optional): The monument has the family name of Boggs at the base, which itself is beginning to fall apart, and which has been propped up with bricks. The main face has this inscription:

The second face depicts a psychopompos near the base, and this inscription:

March 3, 1878.
The third face features another psychopompos, and an inscription on the base:
We only know that thou hast gone,
and that the same relentless tide
which bore thee from us, still glides on
and we who mourn thee with it glide.
The fourth face features a cross with flowers, as well as a set of hands at the base, indicating a successful marriage. Boggs's wife, Margaret, is buried just a few feet away.
