Virtually all of Würzburg was destroyed by a British fire bomb attach the evening of March 16, 1945 and the Bürgerspital was no exception. Rebuilt in 1956, this connecting building features a Glockenspiel and clock.
The clock is mounted above the Glockenspiel near the peak of the fachwerk building. The half timbers and stucco form the face of the clock which is consequently the brown of the timbers and the white of the stucco. The Roman numeral numbers for the hours, as well as the hands are gold.
