Hanlan's Point Beach is on the west shoreline of Hanlan's Point (lake Ontario)which is part of the landmass known as Toronto Island. It runs in a crescent shape south from the airport boundary. Very peaceful and rustic. This is a CLOTHING OPTIONAL beach. Lifeguarded daily from 11:30 to 18:30, with first aid equipment on site. Bordered by vegetated sand dunes. Take the Hanlan's Point ferry from Mainland Ferry Terminal and follow the signs to the beach. Descriptions of sand dune ecology posted.
