The webcam is mounted on the second light standard northwest of Highland Drive, looking southeast. Highland Drive is 5.8 km. east of the Petro Can Station in Sorrento.

Sorrento is bigger than it looks, with a population of about 6,500. Sorrento is on the west end of Shuswap Lake, the Houseboat Capital of Canada. Shuswap is a big lake, shaped like an H, with miles and miles of shoreline to explore.

This webcam updates every 2 minutes. BC Highway webcams are owned and operated by the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure. They are accessible online at DriveBC.
