The gazebo is toward the south end of the campground, near the swimming area and restrooms. It is large enough to accommodate a group of at least 25 people or several smaller groups. Its setting is great - right beside the lake, allowing occupants a grand view of Lake Roosevelt. There are several picnic tables within the gazebo.
A fairly large campground,
Evans Campground has a slew of amenities, such as water and electric hookups, a sani-dump station, this gazebo for picnicking, a children's playground, beaches and a swimming area, boat launch and a boat dock. It is adjacent to Highway 25 between Northport and Kettle Falls and is part of the
Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area.
Right on the 130 mile long lake, this is a great home base for fishing and boating. From here one can even boat into town for supplies, instead of driving.
