In Cambridge, within the bounds of Thomas Danehy Park, is this mural on the side of the bath house.
The mural is located near the Sherman Street entrance for the park, near the eastern edge. The mural is on the northern wall of the building.
The mural shows a brightly colored scene with a building in the middle, rounded hills in blue, green, brown, orange, and purple, and bordered by a white picket fence and trellis. The building has french doors with potted flowers. To the right is a table with an umbrella. Above the hills and building is the sky with linework representing clouds and a balloon at the peak. Extending from the hills into the sky is a radio/tv tower.
There are other details that can be found in the mural, so spend some time looking it over!
The mural has words that say "Danehy Days" and the year "2001," as well as the address, "99 Sherman Street." The web site for the Cambridge Arts Council has a page for murals, and titles this one as "Hockney by Holly" by Holly Alderman. The notes state that the mural was painted in bright colors to mimic the narrative style of British painter, David Hockney.
