Puvodne hrad a pozdeji zámek Vimperk byl nekolikrát prestavován. Hodiny se nacházejí na pozdne renesancní veži, nad jedním z hlavních vstupu do zámku. Mají cerný kulatý ciferník, rucicky a císlice pravdepodobne byly pozlacené. Dnes jsou ale oprýskané a zkorodované.

The original castle and later chateau Vimperk was rebuilt several times. The clock are on the late-Renaissance tower above one of the main entrance to the castle. They have a black round dial, hands and numerals were probably gilded. Today, however, are cracked and corroded.
