This post sits at the point (finally established in 1910) where the N-S border of WV and MD meets the Southern boundary of PA as established by Mason-Dixon.
At this location, a track road runs East-West between Maryland & West Virginia on the south side of the monument, and a small geotrail runs South from Pennsylvania into Maryland (the location of a nearby geocache).
At this point, Garrett County (MD), Fayette County (PA,) and Preston County (WV) meet.

Note - to visit this marker, it is best to come from the PA (north) side along Brown Hill RD (carefully as it is rough gravel) and park just N of the PA/MD border. From there, proceed S for a few hundred feet & then turn NW along a track road on power line right-of-way until arriving at the vicinity of the stone on the left.
