In Portland, within the Portland campus of the University of Southern Maine, is this corner stone for Luther Bonney Hall.
The campus entrance is located off Bedford Street, between U.S. Route 1 and Maine Route 25. The building is to the west of the entrance and parking lots. The dated stone is located to the right of the main entrance (west side of the building). It's about a foot off the ground, and is a white stone engraved with '1864' embedded in brick.
The campus map states that the building at 85 Bedford Street has the School of Business, computer labs, the English Department, and other offices.
