This life-size suitcase replica in stone for business man J. S. Jacobs is located in Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln, Kansas, USA.
The inscription with a gramatical error on the stone goes as follow:
"Here Is Where He Stoped Last."
According to the Roadside America.com, "A 42-year old businessman named James S. Jacobs died in 1891. According to the inscription on the limestone suitcase tombstone, "Here Is Where He Stoped (sic) Last." The legend was he was a traveling salesman, with no family, who died suddenly, leaving only his samples satchel behind, which a local stone carver modeled the grave marker after. Turns out that Jacobs was in fact a local, buried with family, but bemused business associates may have financed the novel headstone".
